Overview: Fire Lacrosse is a new force on the girls lacrosse scene. It is the Elite division of Dragons Lacrosse and offers girls dedicated to the sport a chance to play at a higher level and to reach higher goals. Fire is backed by an incredible coaching staff that trains our players, guides them through tournaments and actively supports them in the recruiting process. We have an amazing team environment and a great attitude.

Practices: Each team will have a total of 13 practices. Practices will be held on Mondays from 6-8pm at Penmar Park & Recreation Center, 1341 Lake Street, Venice, CA 90291.

 

Tryouts: Monday, September 11th from 5:30pm-8pm at Penmar Park & Recreation Center. There is no tryout charge but registration is required by September 10th. Click HERE to register.

  • From Baltimore, MD
  • Played Lacrosse at powerhouse McDonough High School 
  • Graduated from Elon University in 2017
  • 4 year team captain, top scoring attacker, 4 year starter, and draw specialist for Elon Women’s Lacrosse Team

PAIGE BONOMI

  • From Long Island, NY
  • Graduated from USC in 2015
  • Recruited as an attacker to USC as a member of the inaugural women’s lacrosse class
  • Career ending knee injury lead her to continue working closely with the team as a player coach
  • Coach for Santa Monica Dragons and Fire Lacrosse
  • Previously coach at Long Island Yellow Jackets

MEGAN WARD

  • From Annapolis, MD
  • Graduated UNC in 2016
  • Top Goaltender and starter for the UNC Women’s lacrosse team. Led the team to win two NCAA DI National Championships, awarded National Goalie of the year

Lodging:

 

Santa Barbara is always a challenge for hotel rooms. This year is no different. Many of you have already booked at either a hotel or house, but if you haven’t click HERE for the official hotel list provided by the tournament. There is no team hotel because it is too difficult to get rooms in one location. And depending on your game schedule, you may be able to drive up from LA on Saturday morning.
