The Dragons Winter Local Season is for players of all skill levels and will feature games against other LA clubs in the West LA League.
LEAGUE: West LA League
WINTER TEAMS:
Boys 2nd & 3rd Grade
Boys 4th & 5th Grade
Boys 6th, 7th, & 8th Grade (Middle School)
GAME SCHEDULE: Games will take place every Saturday starting the week of January 12th and ending the week of February 23rd & 24th.
GAME LOCATIONS: While plans aren’t completely locked in by the league, games will be played at different fields around the west side of Los Angeles, including Mar Vista, Culver City HS, Santa Monica HS, and Manhattan Beach.
PRACTICE SCHEDULE: We will be offering an extensive training program for boys as part of the winter season. For the first time in several years we will be able to offer pre-season training as part of our Winter Local Season and we are very excited about that! It will provide our players with the extra training needed to build confidence going into the season. General practice parameters are:
Boys 2nd & 3rd Grade - Two practices a week @1 hour each (14 practices total)
Boys 4th & 5th Grade - Two practices a week @ 1.5 hours each (14 practices total)
Boys 6th, 7th & 8th - Two practices a week @ 1.5 hours each (16 practices total)
At present we have been allocated field space by the City of Santa Monica for the months of December and January. On February 4th, we will start a new permit cycle with new field times. That means practice times may change. We will also not receive the new permit times until mid to late January. We’re sorry about the inconvenience this causes but it is part of the process in Santa Monica.

COACHING STAFF: All of our coaches have a deep understanding of the game of lacrosse, they are young, full of positive energy and share a love of teaching lacrosse to kids. Our curriculum is highly instructive, with a focus on making your son the best player he can be. You can read up on our boys coaches HERE.
UNIFORM: A uniform is included in the program cost. You will be asked for size information as part of the registration process.
